From the towering Andes in Argentina to the jungles of the Amazon River in Peru and Ecuador to the arctic north slope and glaciers of Alaska to the emptiness of the Mackenzie River Valley in northern Canada, Hydroconsult is providing EIA, design, permitting, construction and monitoring input for pipeline river crossings and floodplain segments.

Our leadership in pipeline river crossings is exhibited by the experience of our staff:

  • senior river engineering consultant to the Trans Alaska oil pipeline continuously since 1973 (design, construction and maintenance/monitoring),
  • design, field engineering and monitoring for GasAtacama pipeline in Argentina, the highest gas line in the world (1997 - present),*
  • conceptual design of repair measures for the NorAndino gas line, Argentina (2001 - 2002),
  • design and field engineering and monitoring of an oil pipeline, OCP in Ecuador (2000 - present),*
  • design and field engineering during construction for the Camisea gas and NGL line in Peru (2001 - present),
  • conceptual engineering for the proposed multi-billion dollar Mackenzie Gas Pipeline project (2002 - present) in northern Canada.
